About Us – Who’s Who At Word of Mouth Agency
Our beloved studio, Word of Mouth Agency, began over 20 years ago when a young Adam Perich met a preschool Ryan Khong and a lifelong friendship was born. Fast forward a few years and both men went on to graduate high school and then university together. As fresh faced young graduates, Adam & Ryan left the tertiary scene to work together at what was then known as WebSmart Design. Eventually the employee life proved to be too mundane and dry, so, as partners, Adam & Ryan bought over their workspace and transformed it into what we know today: Word of Mouth Agency. Over the last five years, Word of Mouth has been carefully cultivated as a positive, professional and creative workplace that encourages innovation and collaboration.
Meet The Bosses
Adam Perich
Adam is our hard working, professional web guru with a passion for adventure and fresh opportunities. With an entrepreneurial view on the world, he is continually conceiving and applying new ideas and up skilling his team. As one of our co-founders and the creative director at Word of Mouth, Adam plays a large roll in our strategic development and oversees our web and creative departments. In his free time, you can find Adam exploring a remote beach down south with his partner and dog Max.
Ryan Khong
Our in-house marketing director and co-founder Ryan can be found on a phone call or out on the road meeting and greeting new and old clients. With a mission to impact WA with high quality digital marketing and customer service, Ryan is continually liaising with clients and making sure operations down at Word of Mouth HQ continue to run smoothly. An entrepreneur at heart, you always find Ryan cooking up a new business idea. When he gets the chance for some down time, you can find Ryan attempting to DJ at your nearest club or grabbing a bite to eat at the newest boujee restaurant through Perth Food Adventures.
Meet The Employees
Imogen Smith
Word of Mouth’s first employee, Imogen, joined the team while still studying her bachelor at Curtin University. Our resident graphic designer, she floats between copywriting, events, social media marketing and all things design. With a background in illustration, advertising and graphic design, you can always find her applying a creative strategy to each project she works on. When she’s not working or cooking up some side hustle, you can find her at the beach, at your nearest açai bowl cafe or enjoying a meal out in Fremantle.
Chris Nosiara
If you’ve been in the events industry, you probably would have met Chris! At Word of Mouth, he dedicates most of his time to PR events and digital account management. Through social media, ads and events Chris continues to apply innovative ideas to each account he deals with. Motivated and ambitious, Chris continues to positively impact each individual he comes into contact with. As a Perth personality himself, you can always find Chris at the gym, taking some bangin’ content or eating out in Perth with friends.
Moe Barazandeh
Actually, it’s Mohammad Barazandehmoghadam but we all think it’s a tad too long to say. Despite his last name, Moe is a key part of the team as our resident web developer. With a keen eye for detail and stickler for perfection, he continues to bring fresh ideas to our web developing and online marketing projects. When he’s not pouring over some unintelligible code, Moe enjoys rock climbing, drinking bevies and researching block chains!
Deniese Sequiera
To know Deniese is to love Deniese! On top of studying teaching full time, she is also our in house Digital Marketing Strategist and go-to for all things ad related. By taking ‘communication is key’ seriously, Deniese works at identifying marketing opportunities before working alongside clients to strategise on how best to smash their individual goals. On the weekends she tends to spend her time studying or enjoying time out and about with her gal pals.
Lauren Peci
Lauren is our Social Media Manager and events intern at Word of Mouth Agency. With a background in finance, Lauren left the corporate industry to return to university and study her Master of Marketing! A driven, go-getter individual, we love the creative proposals and suggestions she implements into each project. An avid fan of hiking, you’ll find Lauren at the gym, hiking in the hills or spending time with her cute nieces any she can get.
