WoM: Moving Into Our New Workspace
Having a comfortable workspace can directly influence the productivity of your office. This is just one of the benefits of moving into a new workspace. In July 2019, Word of Mouth Agency moved into their new office in Applecross and now that they have settled in we will ask Ryan and Adam some questions to see how the new office has affected their work, as well as some of the benefits and challenges they have come across.
How has the new office affected your work?
“It gives us a space where we can comfortably meet our clients and work out what they need, as well as brainstorm, collaborate and discuss further ideas face to face at all times. It’s a place where I can completely zone into my work and be rid of any distractions” – Ryan Khong
What are some of the benefits of moving to this new workspace?
“Since moving into this office I believe we have increased our productivity by 120%. Working in an open space for collaboration is amazing for our creativity and efficiency. Having a separate board room for meetings and a lounge area to lax out in allows us to ‘recharge’ and get straight back into the work” – Ryan Khong
Have you come across any challenges or complications when moving into your new office?
“Furnishing our new workspace was an interesting challenge. We’ve never done interior design and although we know design – this was different for us. Finding furniture to suit our WoM vibe, theme and space was not as easy as we originally thought. But after looking at several options we’re happy to invite people into our place of comfort.” – Adam Perich
With the new space Word of Mouth is ready to take the business to the next level. The coffee’s on us, so come down and say hi! Ryan and Adam are in the office from 8:30AM – 5PM between Monday to Friday (closed Wednesday) and will welcome you with open arms.
